This is my attempt at fixing this ABS control module. This video is the first in a multipart series. At the time I started recording, the module is out of the truck and on the desk for inspection and repair planning.
The vehicle is a 2003 Ford F150 7700 4wd pickup. When the ignition is turned on there is a clunk sound from under the hood upon which the ABS light comes on, stays on. Using the BlueDriver OBDII tool, the truck module is giving code C1214 which indicates as "Right Front Inlet Valve Coil Circuit Failure". When I took the module off of the hydraulic block, the problem became obvious. Next is to figure out how to fix it!
Much of the time spent on this was overcoming repairing the coil wires. The actual fix to the module itself was really simple and quick, once there were good coils to use.
