Applying Shading Techniques to Neurographic Art

Adding shading techniques to your neurographic art can bring it to the next level by adding depth, dimension and interest to your base drawing. Apply these techniques after adding any color if that medium is opaque. If using watercolor you could paint on top of the doodles or shading if using waterproof ink pens.

Doing this can also deepen the mindfulness aspect of engaging in making neurographic art, amplifying the goal of creating a relaxed mind.
