Here is my story:

My name is Phillip I have been in the hobby industry for nearly 20 years. My radio-controlled adventure started at a very young age, but began to be a priority soon after my father was inspired to purchase a Traxxas T-max from the monster truck scene of the movie Oceans 11 in 2001. I began entry level part-time work for my local Hobbytown store in the fall of 2002 where I found as much love for the customers as my hobby. In 2016, I took on new challenges when I purchased the store from my employer.

The inspiration for this channel came during the covid-19 mandatory closures and the time I spent reflecting on the years and countless customers who asked me to write a book from my knowledge of radio controlled equipment. The original name of the channel was Hobbied. However I quickly found that YouTube’s search algorithms didn’t like the spelling of the name. So I changed the name to Hobby 365, as in, hobby every day. From day one the goal of this channel was to provide useful information without all yammering that frequently comes with how-to and informational videos.
