Net needles and gauges have been used for centuries when creating nets. Crafting nets was, and is, important for catching food, storage as well as other uses, and we work through the creation of tools used in net making using a knife.
Knowing how to make a net needle and gauge can be important when out in the woods and is useful knowledge.
