A short but meaningful ride on the first day of 2026, marking the start of a new chapter.
I rolled out from North Vancouver, crossed into Downtown Vancouver, and cruised through Stanley Park. The weather was chilly, and in some sections the fog reduced visibility, giving the ride a quiet, almost cinematic feel.
I crossed the two main bridges connecting North Vancouver and Vancouver, taking in the calm atmosphere of the city on New Year’s Day. No rush, no goals, just enjoying the moment and starting the year on the bike.
