This mode is just about my favorite for coloring jam segments with a nice sound. The suspension of the 4th falling back to the major third in conjunction with the strong dominant (flat) seventh interval and taking out the 2/9 and 6 note provide a great sequence for creating cool sounds and textures for improvisation.
