Monster of an Only Ones number to end the main set.
My excited anticipation may have been a factor, but, despite this being the first date of the October tour, I thought it was one of the best shows I've seen Peter and his band play (and I've seen a fair few, with all of them setting high bars!).
It's why I just left my camera resting on the rail and captured more than I normally would. As I was still revelling in the moment, I may not have been looking through the screen most of the time (you can perhaps tell by some of the 'arty' drifting shots!) - but I hope at least I've caught some of the spirit of this great show.
I'm acutely aware though (and you'll thank me for the reminder!🙂), that this is just a pale facsimile of the real live show - do try to catch Peter and his terrific band in person, if you get a chance.
PS for Peter and band: I appreciate, that - well-intentioned as may be - I've taken huge liberties in all I'm posting here, and I'm happy to take anything down if you prefer
