Have you ever been to a greek bank? Have you ever used a greek ATM? Did you do this in greek or in english? Today you 'll see me to make a withdrawal by the ATM of my neighborhood.

I 'll show you the whole procedure and I 'll teach you useful vocabulary.

In this video, I’m not going to give you specific phrases to use in a greek bank. I’m not going to tell you exactly what you want to say there.

I’ll give you some basic Banking vocabulary you need to build alone your speech.

AVAILABLE SUBTITLES: Greek, English, Spanish , Portuguese

What we need to have in a greek bank
our ID card (ταυτότητα)
our bank book (βιβλιάριο τραπέζης)
if you don’t have an ID , you can use your passport (διαβατήριο)
credit card - debit card (χρεωστική κάρτα- πιστωτική κάρτα)

What we do in a greek bank
open an account (ανοίγω λογαριασμό)
deposit (κάνω κατάθεση)
withdrawal (κάνω ανάληψη)

What we need to open an account
our ID card or passport (ταυτότητα ή διαβατήριο)
a bill of electricity (λογαριασμός ηλεκτρικού ρεύματος)
taxes statement (εκκαθαριστικό φόρου εισοδήματος)
work testimony (βεβαίωση εργασίας)

In the end of this video , after the vocabulary, you ‘re going to see me do a withdrawal from an ATM.
