Hera Hyesang Park & Aigul Akhmetshina sing this aria as part of the Georg Solti Accademia 20th Anniversary Gala, celebrated in style at Budapest's newly renovated opera house. Also including Freddie De Tommaso and baritone Paul Grant, the four singers – all alumni of the Accademia – present an irresistible programme of favourite arias, duets and ensembles ranging from Rossini to Korngold. Conductor János Jovács and the Orchestra of the Hungarian State Opera – where Solti worked as a repetiteur in the 1930s – complete the line-up.
