Most of my videos are about finding vacant land and carving out a homestead — but today, I’m sharing something a little different. One of my favorite things to do in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula is chase the Northern Lights, and after a summer clouded by Canadian wildfire smoke, we finally got a show worth waiting for.
This 2-minute video captures the quiet awe of the aurora dancing across the sky—a reminder of why the UP is such a special place to live, explore, and dream.
