Our video is a guided circular walk in the Yorkshire Dales National Park on the border of North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Starting from Garsdale Station at Garsdale Head we pass through Grisedale and continue to Hell Gill Force. We return on The High Way (Track) to High Dyke then head down to the Moorcock Inn before returning to Garsdale Station. This is a moderate walk on grass and gravel paths/tracks and short distances on tarmac road. Some of the paths are very faint and there are is a steep descent.
Elevation: approx lowest point 304.40m (998.69ft) approx highest point 462.80m (1518.37ft) approx ascent 535.70m (1757.55ft).
Approx 8.9 miles allow 3½ - 4 hours using OS Explorer Map OL19, Howgill Fells and Upper Eden Valley. This walk is done clockwise.
Start point: Garsdale Station free car park.
