In this tutorial, we get into the initial setup of Reaper 6 for sound design and game audio! This series is for those who are interested in, or are working in game audio, composition, and sound design, and assumes that you already have a *tiny* bit of knowledge about working in Reaper, or any other DAW.

If you've ever wanted to learn what all the hubbub around Reaper is all about, you're in the perfect place! While this tutorial series is going to be very beginner friendly, it does assume you have some basic digital audio workstation knowledge. For example, if you know what "tracks" "MIDI" "VST" and "bouncing" are, then you're set to go through this series.

Reaper is renown for it's incredibly fast workflow and intense levels of customizability. While it may not be intuitive at first, and does work quite a bit differently than most other DAWs in some ways, there is a reason that so many in the game audio space stick to it over things like Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton Live, or many other great DAWs: The speed and flexibility really are unparalleled.

We're also using the default Reaper 6 theme for this series!
