UMIGARI is the latest horror experience from Chilla’s Art, and this demo completely hooked me (pun intended). What starts as a relaxing harpoon-fishing sim quickly turns into something much darker. The deeper you explore, the stranger the ocean becomes—both the fish and the story behind them.
In this playthrough, I check out the Umigari demo, which mixes fishing, exploration, and eerie objectives you complete off the boat to keep progressing. The balance between calm gameplay and creeping tension is perfect. If this is just the demo, the full release is going to be something special.
If you enjoy unsettling atmospheres, slow-burn horror, and Chilla’s signature sense of mystery, you’ll love this one.
