The 14th April would have been my Mum's 102nd birthday and on her birthday, for the past three years, we have celebrated her life with a family meet up for lunch somewhere about half way for us all. This year we met in Brook, at The Green Dragon for lunch.
We decided to stay over in the cottage next door, which was really quaint with a log fire and a comfy bed. We visited Burley that evening for a wander and the next day, before heading home, we went to Lyndhurst, one of my favourite childhood places to go with my parents at the weekends in summer.
We had a lovely couple of days and lots of memories came flooding back.
We headed home and stopped at Mewsbrook Park for some lunch and a walk around the lake, to top off our wonderful two days away.
