2019 Best Puerto Galera Resort: Coco Beach Island Resort Review and Tour. Coco Beach is a sprawling 10 hectare resort with 110 rooms owned by a Danish - Filipino couple. What makes this resort very unique is that all bungalows and facilities are made with natural materials and vegetation to blend in with the landscape. There is a 800 square meter lagoon pool near the beach, silent pool on top of the hill, 3 restaurants, tennis court, basketball court, hanging bridge, playground and dive shop. In this review we will show you our favorite activities and dishes at this resort including the Daily Happy Hour from 4PM - 5PM Buy 1 take 1 on cocktails! This is already our 6th visit and we keep coming back for a family oriented resort experience, great food, friendly service and above all pure relaxation! Coco Beach Resort became operational in 1986 and is credited as a Class "AA" Resort by the Philippine Department of Tourism. Coco Beach is located at Behiya, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, where water is crystal clear and the hills are full of coconut palms swaying with the breeze.

During the 15th century Spanish Galleons passed through from Europe to Mexico and the East. Puerto Gallera translates from Spanish to port of Galleons.
