Dangerous Boonah to Cleveland Supercell - November 16, 2013

On a highly volatile day, this storm developed near Boonah and quickly became a supercell. I arrived a little late in the piece due to other commitments; but was able to take lots of photos and take timelapse with the D7000 and Gopro as the beast neared my location north of Jimboomba. 3cm hail soon started falling out of the anvil (they hurt a bit) and so it was time to drive north. Golfball and slightly larger hail (biggest hail from about 4:25) thudded into the soft metal of my car causing lots of dents! I just avoided the tennis and cricket ball size hail which soon covered suburbs such as Munruben and Greenbank, causing a fair amount of damage. What a day... one I won't forget for a while.
