Social media and netizens have become a huge source of information on the possible whereabouts of former lawmaker Zaldy Co who is accused of funneling millions of pesos in government funds to ghost projects.
Assistant Ombudsman Mico Clavano said information that Co is hiding in Portugal has been corroborated by additional information from other sources.
A total of 17 cases involving 100 respondents have been prepared in connection with the flood control mess, Clavano said.
