In Wetlet Township and Shwebo Township of Sagaing Region, joint resistance forces attacked locations where the junta’s troops were stationed as well as pro-military militias and columns. According to the revolutionary forces, 34 soldiers died and 11 assorted weapons were seized, with video evidence provided.

Pro-junta lobbyists supporting Min Aung Hlaing claimed that, due to Chinese pressure and because the cities they could negotiate for from the revolutionary forces were nearly gone, they would instead “capture” them.

In Pyin Oo Lwin Township of Mandalay Region, Min Aung Hlaing is reinstating the Yadanabon New City project that was initiated under the NLD government.
