Moving The Steering Box Back 6 Inches To Clear The Ardun Heads!

In the last update on the 1933 Ford 3 Window, Matt and Steve worked on getting the engine and transmission locked into place. Today Matt is going to work on relocating the steering box to help clear the Ardun heads, and the rear exhaust port. Before moving the box, Matt welds up a small area where the frame was previously modified. The hardest part of the job is trying to place the box in the frame rail, without being able to stick the shaft of the box through the rail. After some careful measuring, Matt drills some holes in the frame to mount the box. The last step is to heat and bend the pitman arm to clear the split wishbones at the new location.
