At one point in his life, Brother Edmilson José de Lima had lost nearly everything — his health, his livelihood, and even hope. He was broken not only in body but in spirit. With declining health and no possessions left to sell, he reached the edge of despair. However, in the midst of his struggle, a simple encounter changed everything.

The stranger he met while trying to sell a cellphone recommended the program, O Caminho Antigo (The Old Path) on YouTube. That single moment became a turning point in his life.

Brother Edmilson’s heart was moved by the words of the Bible preached by Brother Eli Soriano, which spoke to his soul with a power and truth he had never known.

“I finally found the true Church!” he exclaimed, his heart overflowing with joy, despite his wife's concerns over his fragile condition.
