#9. Modified Bloom | Acrylic Fluid Pouring | Contemporary Art | Abstract art |Sheleeart Technique

Welcome to my YouTube channel.

Tonight's pour is a modified bloom technique with four blooms in the background and a larger bloom as the focal point.

I thoroughly enjoyed doing this pour, but she gave me a run for my money. This fist pour I scraped as the container with the black Cell Activator slipped out my hand and onto the canvas, this piece, as I was finishing off, I gave her one last spin and then my finger dug a gouge of paint off the board. Three spins later and a lot of cussing, I'm happy with her.

Ingredients used are as follows :
Pillow
Recycled puppy pool paint and Excelsior Sheen All purpose house paint.

Pouring Medium
3 parts Untinted Pearlglo
1 Part Waterbased Polyurethane Varnish
(this is mixed with my colours at a ratio of 1 part paint to 3 parts Pouring Medium)

My Cell activator is Amsterdam Lamp Black mixed with Australian Floetrol at a ratio of 1 part paint to 4 parts Australian Floetrol and Amsterdam Titanium white mixed with Australian Floetrol at a ratio of 1 part paint to 3 parts Floetrol.

Colours used :
Paynes Grey - Iris
Burnt Umber + copper - Iris & Dekade Paints
Peach/Apricot Interference Pigment
Peach - Burnt Sienna + white - Iris
Bronze - Dekade Paints
