This video is coming a couple weeks early for the Spokane area - gives you time to gather your tools and supplies! The time to start pruning roses is when the buds swell or begin to leaf out. For us, late March or early April is usually about right, but it's different in every area. Don't wait too long though, or your rose will used a lot of energy for growth that you will end up removing!
