Enjoy the scenery in the Pacific Northwest as I complete a post-annual test flight to Port Angeles on the Olympic Peninsula northwest of Seattle.
You'll get a detailed view of the ILS RWY 09 approach at the William R. Fairchild Airport. I flew the ILS because the RNAV (GPS) approach to that runway is not authorized by NOTAM.
To exercise the avionics and AP, I chose to fly the full procedure, including the course reversal via the HILPT at YUCSU. I flew this approach to a full-stop landing to practice the transition from my standard ILS/LPV aircraft configuration as I descended to the DA.
