Melody McFadden spoke at the 13th National Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence. Melody is the daughter, grandmother, and aunt of loved ones taken by gun violence.
Her granddaughter, Mielle McFadden, stood before the nation at the 10th National Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence, bravely sharing her voice and her call for change. This July, Mielle herself was shot and killed, becoming another life stolen by the very violence she spoke out against.
Melody spoke in honor of Mielle and all those lost, turning profound grief into a demand of a future free from gun violence.
