ktm duke 125 engine intake valve repair .
problem : the engine shut down . mid driving ..
then cranks but won't start .
the dammege =
broken intake valve = replaced
clogged fuel pump ( no fuel compression ) = filter bag removed
clogged fuel filter = was replaced
clogged injector = was cleand
burn leftovers coated sparkplug = was cleand
fully dead battery that cannot be charged -
(from start attempts) replaced with cheap seald lead acid 7 amps
engine seals - replaced all that was opend
replacing engine oile - bonus
replaceing coolant - bonus
machining the head for the new intake valve with dimond paset
a must (compression)
spring & valve & valve seals - replaced the broken ones
valve abjastments - a must after new valve installation
taking apart and putting back together the motorcycle

reasons water and dirt contaminated fuel
from a bad gas station .
2 low quality parts of ktm india.
speed 105 kph : ) on the main highway.
after the repair - engine runs & all functions ok
some minor oile leak due to a low engine main screws locking tork
can be easley fixed with the tool that have the right tork setting option and by looking in the manual for the right tork
settings since i prefer to do it only with the tool
to avoide distrction to the engine case screw threads
this videos can be helpfull to you if you are repairing a duke engine valve/s since i had to used only the manual to repair it .
i recommed you take pictures of the engine as you work on it
to remember the position of parts since some look very simular or
have no left and right markings and are critical for function .
also you most likeley to need some experts tools for the
engine head repair like - micrometer , dimond pased, leafe gauge ,
never use any after market parts for such a repair
only original ktm parts .
