I hadn't checked that the video was not one I already uploaded--here is the correct video intended for Tuesday. The rest of the description is as follows:
I realized, looking at Ansha’s design from the Mega Dimensions DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, that she appears to be related to Diantha: she shares a similar color scheme in her clothing, she has a similar hair color and skin tone, her hat resembles Diantha’s wings, and her hairstyle has a similar “bumpy” texture. Who knows if she is a similar top-class trainer though—she looks to be very young, so she likely would’ve been a toddler or preschool-age or something in X and Y.
On the other hand, Korrina looks way more imposing than she used to, with lots of Mega Stones strapped to herself. (Maybe she gives them to the player character later.)
Type: Double Battle
Opponent: Fumbles
Battle Court: Mesagoza (Central Plaza)
Music: Terapagos
My Pokémon: Klefki, Bombirdier, Dragalge, Sawsbuck
Opponent’s Pokémon: Basculegion (Male), Whimsicott, Pelipper, Gholdengo
Here’s one where I DID predict correctly, at least as far as Whimsicott goes. Klefki is important to this team as the Trick Room setter in a meta with a lot of Prankster Tailwind usage, allowing me to turn their Tailwind against them. This allowed me to get the drop on not only Whimsicott, but their Basculegion, though I couldn’t tell if they had Swift Swim or Adaptability, both scary Abilities on this fish.
I was also able to correctly predict they’d swap out Basculegion—people I face are a cut above in these Online Competitions—though I just kind of threw Rock Slide out there as a move other than Knock Off. They happened to switch into something weak to Rock, making this another one of those risky switches…except this time, it didn’t pay off.
Last Respects might be absolutely busted on Pokémon Showdown, but it isn’t in official battling, where you’ll have 4 Pokémon at most, capping Last Respects’ power. You see, it has a power of 50 for every Pokémon fainted on your side. With a full team, if the user is the last one standing on your team, it’ll have a power of 250, same as Explosion but without the self-fainting. With 4v4 double battling, it tops off at a more humble 150, strong but manageable, more like Hyper Beam. Me, I just decided to have my team take all of those Last Respects attacks knowing it only hits one target and I only needed two hits to take it out.
