3688/3688HDE Cable Retermination – 9mm Cable (Pan-Tilt Connector) | Forbest Repairs

In this video, we demonstrate how to reterminate the 9mm yellow cable for the Forbest 3688/3688HDE system and repair the connector for a pan-tilt camera.

Note:
This cable is designed with a connector specifically for Pan-Tilt cameras; however, with the appropriate Spring Kit, it can also be used with Forbest Straight-view camera heads.
Full cable replacement is not recommended, as the stiffness can make installation difficult and potentially unsafe.
