Check out the inaugural year of Customs and Rods at The Reserve! A prestigious gathering of beautiful custom cars and modified early hot rods. The event was organized by Saltworks Fabrication, a full service hot rod shop specializing in custom metal work and one off builds. Video features a chat with the show organizer Thom Speed as he shares the purpose behind Customs and Rods at The Reserve. Additionally video features interviews with some of the registrants as we take a close look at their restored classic cars and the story behind the build. Featured cars include 1950 chopped Chevrolet, 1964 convertible Oldsmobile, 1934 Ford, 1933 3 window ford coupe with 355 cubic inch motor and 6.75 blower!
Check out the story behind John's 1953 Mercury, the one owner car that was purchased after decades of keeping in touch with it's original owners, a car that even caught the attention of Chip Foose featuring the cheapest interior work I have ever heard!
I had a great time getting to know hot rod girl Jade and her 1929 Model A with it's matching hand bag! Be sure to keep up with Chip and Lisa and their travels across the country with their 1964 Chevy Bel Air wagon featuring Chips beautiful pinstriping skills.
Congratulations to Scott for taking home Best Hot Rod at Customs and Rods with his 1932 Ford Roadster built by Ace Fabrications, and Jimmy for winning Best Custom at the show with his one of a kind flamed truck inspired by the original work of Keith Weesner!
