October Challenge: 30 Days of Practicing Patience

This month, let us intentionally train our hearts and minds to develop patience with God and with others. Each day, take one small action:

· With God: wait on Him in prayer for a few extra minutes before rushing off.

· With yourself: extend grace when you fall short; choose growth over guilt.

· With others: pause before responding, speak with kindness, and forgive quickly.

✨Some practical daily steps:

· Start each day with one patience Scripture and repeat it whenever you feel rushed or frustrated.

· Practice “holy pauses”: take a breath and pray silently before reacting to a situation.

· Journal about one area where you struggle with impatience, and ask God for wisdom and strength.

Commit to at least one act of patience toward others daily—listening fully, not interrupting, forgiving, or waiting without complaining.

Prayer:

Lord, teach me to rest in Your promises, to surrender my plans, and to walk patiently with You and others. Help me release control, embrace Your peace, and endure with grace. May my life reflect trust, obedience, patience, and love in every season.
