TRIP REPORT | SAS opby. BRA [SAS Go] ATR 72-600 | TRF-CPH | SK1397

While BRA stands for Braathens Regional Airlines, the word "bra" also means "good" in both Swedish and Norwegian. In any case, they're a Swedish airline with headquarters in Stockholm, which has been operating under an ACMI contract with SAS since January 2025. Join me as I fly with them today from Sandefjord-Torp to Copenhagen onboard one of their ATR 72-600s.

Overall the flight was decent, but could have been better. The flight had a total delay of one hour, and while it didn't have a huge impact on me personally, I would definitely imagine it caused disruptions for those who had short connections. Also, no coffee or tea were served (which for the record are free of charge on SAS flights), due to what I believe was a lack of running water on our aircraft today. Nevertheless, the crew seemed friendly enough, and interestingly, one of the flight attendants I've actually flown with before - more precisely, it happened on a flight from Bologna to Stockholm in July 2024. Another thing I would like to point out is that the ATR 72-600 seems to be able to accommodate large carry-on bags quite well in the cabin, even on flights which are quite full.
