🐞 本編にはない番外編 – 帰宅後のサプライズ＾＾

祭典の帰り道のお話です。
ここからゲストハウスまでは車で1時間。
歩いて帰るのは無理なので配車アプリinDriveでタクシーを呼ぼうとしたけれど、
人混みで回線が混み合い、まったく繋がらず…。

40分歩いてやっとタクシーを捕まえ、さらに1時間かけて21時に帰宅。
ところが――部屋で待っていたのは、人生最大サイズのゴキブリたち。
堂々と歩き回る姿に囲まれ、眠れぬ夜となりました。

散々な締めくくり…のはずなのに、
仏陀の誕生日で感じたネパールの温かさが、そんな出来事すら帳消しに。
それほどまでに心を満たされた一日でした。

その理由は…

🐞 Bonus Story – Surprise After the Festival

On the way back from the celebration, my guesthouse was an hour’s drive away.
Walking wasn’t an option, so I tried calling a taxi via inDrive…
but the huge crowd jammed the network, and I couldn’t connect at all.

After walking 40 minutes, I finally caught a taxi, then rode for another hour, arriving home at 9:00 PM.
And there, waiting for me in my room… the largest cockroaches I’ve ever seen in my life,
boldly walking around as if they owned the place.

It should have been the worst way to end the day,
but the warmth I felt on Buddha’s Birthday erased it all.
That’s how full my heart was.

The reason why?
