MARISOL is a unique and imaginative artist who emerged in the early 1960s as part of the POP ART movement. Known as the 'GRETA GARBO' of the art world (she hardly ever spoke) and she became friends with Andy Warhol and his "Factory" scene. Her work is being shown again today and rediscovered for its originality and charm. Here we see also her 30 foot long "The Last Supper" which took Marisol 2 years to complete. Interview and text is by MARC H. MILLER, narration by SARAH BERRY. (an early 1984 video from the ART/new york video series on contemporary art).
