FIRST LAPS Brand New Shifter Kart Racing Track POV ~ Colorado Karting Circuit - CRAZY FAST!

Hey guys! This is the grand opening day for the newly renovated Colorado Karting Circuit (Formerly known as The Track at Centennial). The track is really smooth and nice to drive on with the newly repaved surface. The layout is very fun and technical to drive, while also being pretty physically demanding in a shifter kart.

The curbs make it quite a rough ride, as you need to hit many of them at pretty highspeed to do a fast lap. Turns two and three are basically full throttle 5th gear corners which you need to hit really hard for a fast lap, it makes it quite a fun drive, but physical.

The Tic Tac Toe section (turns 7, 8, 9) are also quite technical and physical, as I had to hit all three of the curbs to straighten the line through this section. Turn 7 in particular was quite interesting because its a pretty steep drop in elevation after you hit the curb, so I had to line up the entry properly to 'drop' into and set up for turn 8.

This track features many medium and highspeed approximate 90 degree corners which requires precision to maintain a highspeed through the corner, keeping you right on the edge of speed and grip (corners 1, 9, 12, 13, 20).

The final corner, turn 20 is incredibly fun! With the large radius and extreme elevation change (maybe around 30-40ft?), its a real maximum speed, roller-coaster ride, which launches you down onto the front straight-away and into the comparatively tight, but still high speed turn one.

Please excuse the overly active steering inputs, due to the new surface the track was a bit slippery, so I was fighting a light front end and a push throughout the day (you can see the push pretty clearly when I'm passing karts off the racing line)
