Bass and other saltwater fish such as sea trout absolutely love sand shrimps. Over any sandy estuary or beach and in estuary channels, there is normally an abundance of shrimp, and the fish know this too. With this in mind it is worth having a good imitation in your saltwater fly box.
Materials:
Hook: Ahrex light stinger size 6
Thread 1: flou red 8/0
Thread 2: white 8/0
Antennae: grey flexi floss barred with a permanent marker
Feelers: grey craft fur
Tail: grey or white barred marabou
Dubbing: slf ice dub ice pearl
Eyes: black easy shrimp eyes 2.0 or similar
Legs: clear d rib barred with a permanent marker
Back: pro sportfisher shrimp back or similar
