If you're getting a "Tail light failure" warning on your dash here is the problem and the way to fix it! The problem is the tabs either make connect or they don't. I like the ease of bulb replacement but the metal is unfortunayely flimsy. A couple of bulb replacements during the car's life time will damage the tabs. The tabs might be bent, broken, or completely burnt off. The trick is to solder or add wire and a new connection. Here's what I did to fix the problem.
