"On Slide Inn Road" is featured in the upcoming collection of Stephen King stories: YOU LIKE IT DARKER ( May 2024).
It was originally published in Esquire Magazine in October of 2020.
This is my first time reading Stephen King's new(ish) story, and I will be adding my own reactions and commentary... as well as playing every Stephen King fan's favorite game: Stephen King Bingo!
Let us know in the comments what you think of King's "On Slide Inn Road" -- and also let us know if you're familiar with another dark tale: "A Good Man is Hard to Find" by Flannery O'Connor... I think you'll find the two stories have a lot of similarities.
