Jens Paldam Concert, Chiba City Museum of Art

The concert from November 2019 was part of the installation "Obviously no one can make heads nor tails" 「目 非常にはっきりとわからない」by the artist collective 目[mé]. Their installation was on the 7th and 8th floors of the museum as well as in the Saya-do Hall where I played.

A few months before I had played at a modular concert at the Louisiana Museum of art in Copenhagen. After this concert, three individuals came by, introduced themselves and invited me to come to Japan and play. They came from the artist collective 目[mé]. I didn't know them at the time, but they turned out to be some of the most amazing and inspiring artists and people I have had the good fortune to know. A few months later I arrived in Japan with my modular synth, and the next ten days changed my life. I am eternally grateful for this experience.
