1950 Deluxe Tele Set on Skeehan Telecaster through 1964 Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue. The guitar is played by our dear friend, the late great John Lackner.

Mr. Lackner played lead guitar for the Boston based Walnut Band back in the 1970's. They had a pretty good run & played shows all over the east coast.

Mr. Lackner was very talented and understood many topics. In his final years he launched Skeehan Guitars. He sought out the best components for his guitar line. This is how he found us & what led to a great friendship with our founder.

Mr. Lackner loved his family, his daughter & great guitar tone. He used several of our sets in his guitars & we were always honored to work with such a talented human. He had big plans for Skeehan guitars and we were proud to partner with him.

Mr. Lackner recorded many video demos of his guitars and our pickups & we were gearing up for a big co-brand marketing launch . He wanted to wait until he was at full strength before moving forward with releasing the video's as he did not want to receive orders he wasn't well enough to fulfill.

Mr Lackner asked us to release the videos and help spread the word about his guitars in the event he ran out of time so they could be sold and benefit his survivors.

Mr. Lackner loved his 1964 Fender Custom Deluxe Reverb. He said it something special in the feel department that the 65 reissue didn't have.
