19th March 2025 saw Grahame Pearson flying his Hangar 9 Mustang. It is 65" wingspan and is fitted with a Laser 100 and15x8 prop. Always challenging to land, this model really needs flaps, but flies very well. The full-size was famous for its whistling, caused by the wind in the gun ports. This has been replicated on Grahame's model by the use of small toy Nerf whistles under the wings. It sounds very pronounced on the video but is more subtle in reality.
