The DUMBEST TIEBREAKER in Pac-10 HISTORY

In 2000, the Oregon Ducks, the Oregon State Beavers, and the Washington Huskies all finished tied atop the conference with identical 7-1 records. That raises the question- who gets the bid to the Rose Bowl? Who gets first place? Well, the Pac-10 determined that in the stupidest and most counter-intuitive way possible, by deciding to break the tie with something that had nothing to do with conference play whatsoever. And Oregon got screwed over because of it.
