Linda is a Stroke Certified Registered Nurse and Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse with over 35 years’ experience in Nursing. She graduated from the University of Delaware, where she volunteered on the student ambulance, city of Newark ambulance and in the Newark Emergency room. She began her post graduate career at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, in the neuro-trauma unit. Her love for trauma and emergency nursing then took her to the emergency room at Franklin Square hospital. She has been with Sinai Hospital since 2000, holding various positions to include outpatient clinic manager, stroke unit case manager, stroke program coordinator and her current role of Manager of the NeuroRescue Network at LifeBridge Health. She has participated, as an invited speaker, in Stroke Certification review courses and the Maryland Comprehensive Stroke Conference. She has also published on stroke recognition using the BEFAST tool and presented research during a poster presentation at the International Stroke Conference.
