Common Cuckoo are a species that nests throughout much of Europe and Asia and winters in parts of Africa, so when one shows up in the United States, it's a HUGE deal!!! Birders traveled from all over to get a chance to see this amazing rarity to the United States. On our visit, Mike and I not only had this bird put on quite a show for us, but we got to see my guy Nathaniel Sharp as we met halfway between each other to enjoy this unbelievable rarity together!
