Vulnerable households displaced from Belet Hawo, Somalia and currently sheltered in Mandera County, have today received emergency food assistance from the Kenya Red Cross Society – Mandera Branch | Mandera County.
The food distribution took place at three centres: Barwaqo Refugee Camp, Duse Camp and Shashafey Camp.
The relief package distributed includes:
• 5,000 bales of maize flour (unga)
• 1,500 kg of green grams
• 2,500 kg of corn-soya blend (uji mix)
• 500 litres of cooking oil
