It is said that once, deep in the ancient forests of Germany, there were small, moss-covered beings who watched from the shadows. Known by many names - Woodmaidens, Forest Crones, Grove Maidens, and Shaking Women - the Moss People were said to live among the roots of ancient trees and work quietly over the forest floor. But over time, they vanished from the tales we tell, and from the forests too. So why did this happen? And will they ever return?
