Join me and my trail brothers Chad @beyondthecampfire and Nick @Smokeybeesnatural as we summit Mt. LeConte (6593ft) in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! We came down in late February hoping to get some extreme winter weather, but the temperature was just a few degrees above freezing for the entire trip, leaving us socked in fog and rain as we climbed. However, the moisture made all the colors inside the forest canopy burst with vibrancy, and the respite at the LeConte shelter to escape the rain was an amazing blessing for us. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ambient sights and sounds along this beloved mountain!
