Went to see the very last night of semaphore signal operations at Ferryside. Quite emotional as those semaphores have been there since I started going to Ferryside nearly 16 years ago, and while the modernization is beneficial for a more efficient operation of the railway, I can't help but feel that the semaphores added a certain charm to the station that the new signals haven't replaced. I was joined by @CM_Trains and @PenguinsTrains and it was great to be able to share the final night of the semaphores with people whom feel the same about the signals as I do. Enjoy the video!
