DIY laundry detergent and wash results

Just a fun video on how to make your own laundry detergent. You can find similar DIY detergents on YouTube, but we thought that if you never knew that you can make your own, then here you go.

We like making our own because it is much cheaper to make than buying your own laundry detergent. It is also going to contain much less chemicals than what you will buy out of the store. Also you can continue to make this stuff for a very long time and it cleans just as good, if not better than what you buy from the store.

Now keep in mind it will not make nearly as much suds as a commercial detergent. It isn't really suppose to! It will not have your clothes smelling like a fragrance either. Again, it isn't suppose to. It will get your clothes really clean and they will smell very fresh. One of the big things about Seattle is protecting the water system here as much as possible, and this detergent will help do that.

Give it a try and see for yourself. I show you basically us making it, and then I washed clothes with it. Try to live as chemical free as you can.
