WWE 2K25: "The Island" Revealed! It's Pretty BAD!

WWE 2K25's new Island game mode has finally been revealed and it's a lot bigger than first expected, as the mode brings the biggest update ever to WWE 2K Online!

The Island sees up to 50 players to play together in an online sessions, allowing players to explore the island together, compete against each other, complete challenges and quests!

The Island, which is run by the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns will feature 4 districts for players to explore, including:

Hero HQ
Hero HQ is a bright bastion of all that is good. Stand tall and celebrate the top WWE stars that overcome all odds and stand up for the little guy. However, make sure to stay vigilant—for some reason this area is constantly under attack from WWE villains, who undertake all kinds of tactics to gain power on The Island.

The Arcade of Tomorrow
The technological haven that is The Arcade of Tomorrow shines as a fusion of tradition and innovation. This space is a mecca for all gamers, comic book lovers, and the pop-culture obsessed.

The Temple of Ancestors
Rising from The Island as a colossal testament to power and reverence, The Temple of the Ancestors stands as a tribute to the importance of Lucha culture and acknowledging the wrestling greats who paved the way for the Superstars of today.

The Deadlands
The highlight of each district is a unique arena, where players will not only find themselves completing quest matches and challenges, but will be able to challenge friends or matchmake with other online players. Which one will be your favorite to step through the ropes to throw down?

When roaming around the Island, players will also encounter various stores that contain real world branded clothing items, as WWE 2K are partnering up with various brands including:

Also shown off in this video is the first look at the new MySuperstar Builder, which is an extension of Create a Superstar that you'll use to create and customise your character, of which players can save up to 4 characters to switch between.

Upgrading your MySuperstar is done by completing quests and challenges, along with online PVP matches, each of which reward XP and VC that will help you level up on The Island's ranking system as you try to impress Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman.
