Tiffany in the Wild is an upcoming documentary that explores the surviving works of Louis Comfort Tiffany as they were meant to be seen — in their original settings. Far from museum walls, Tiffany’s windows, lamps, and interiors come alive in dialogue with architecture, light, and history.
This development trailer offers a first glimpse of the journey: from churches and cemeteries in New York to Havana’s grand palaces and Mexico City’s Palacio de Bellas Artes. Along the way, we highlight the collaborations between Tiffany Studios, architects, sculptors, and patrons that shaped the cultural imagination of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The full film will bring audiences into these living spaces, capturing how Tiffany’s glass shifts with daylight, seasons, and time itself. More than preservation, this is about rediscovering Tiffany’s vision of light as art.
