Antique 15" Cylinder Music Box w/9 Bell Symphonie with French Clock

Rare French Clock with music box having original Gautschi & Sons of Philadelphia tune sheet titled "Bell Symphonie Zither", which on every hour automatically plays 1 of 12 tunes on a 15" cylinder music box with 85 note comb playing. Music box can also be played operated manually as well.

There is a double spring barrel which is capable of playing the cylinder multiple revolution and I believe runs the music box each hour for multiple days. I'l have to test to give you proper duration of days music box will play but I believe it is closer to 8 days than naught.

There is a maker's identification on top of sheet "#13341" and a cylinder ID below the tune list "No. 1007"

This box has an excellent sound and clarity beautifully restored by Porter Music Box Company in the 1980s. The porcelain dial 8 day clock with hour strike mechanism which plays a music box tune on each hour is original to the box and is a fantastic feature.
